Metamor Jupiter is a science-fiction shooting game in which a transforming craft is the center of the action. The scrolling route brings waves of smaller enemies, environmental pressure and larger targets that require sustained attention. Changing the craft’s form alters the way its weapons cover the screen, so the most useful configuration depends on where threats are arriving. Staying in the middle of the display without considering an escape route leaves the craft vulnerable even with powerful weapons. Learn the shape of each attack and change your positioning before the next formation reaches you. The soundtrack, featuring Masaya Matsuura’s work, accompanies a game built around reading the battlefield and adapting the craft rather than relying on one firing pattern.
