How to Play Meteor Blaster DX
Quick start
Choose a ship with a comfortable balance of speed and power. Break one large asteroid at a time, clear its fragments and keep moving into open space when a UFO appears.
Controls
Use the direction pad to maneuver the ship. The action buttons fire and adjust the cannon’s direction. RUN starts or pauses play; select the included games from the disc menu.
Meteor Blaster DX — About this game
Meteor Blaster DX sends astronaut Stryker into asteroid-filled space with a choice of four ships that differ in power and speed. Large rocks split into smaller pieces when hit, so firing successfully can initially make the arena more crowded. Clear every remaining fragment to finish the stage while avoiding enemy craft and their shots. Temporary bonuses, including shields, create opportunities to survive a difficult wave without removing the need to watch the whole screen. The disc expands the earlier downloadable game with enemies, bosses and CD music, and also includes additional puzzle content. Finding a clear route before attacking a large rock is a useful habit, because its fragments immediately change the surrounding danger.
