Quick start

Controls
The direction pad moves or turns the party and selects commands. SELECT displays the control panel. Use I and II for the context-sensitive selections shown by the interface; RUN begins the new party’s journey.

Terra is a world of islands, settlements and dangerous interiors whose mysteries gradually draw a party of adventurers toward the wizard Corak. The first-person view makes exploration feel immediate, but the group’s preparation determines how far it can travel. Different characters contribute weapons, spells and useful skills, while food, money and magical resources require attention between encounters. Town services provide a chance to recover and improve the party before investigating a new region. The PC Engine CD interface offers a control panel and selectable character commands rather than expecting the computer version’s keyboard. Move cautiously through unfamiliar corridors, check the party’s condition after a fight and remember that returning with information is progress even without clearing a whole dungeon.
