No-Ri-Ko — About this game
No-Ri-Ko builds a short adventure around meeting singer Noriko Ogawa and spending time together. The player chooses where to go and how to respond, with activities such as selecting clothes, taking photographs and playing rock-paper-scissors changing the course of the outing. Digitized imagery, songs and voiced scenes give the experience its identity as an early CD-ROM title. Progress depends on reading the choices and watching Noriko’s reactions rather than building combat statistics or mastering an action stage. Different decisions provide reasons to try the outing again after seeing how one route develops. Let the dialogue and performances finish before selecting the next action so the transition between events remains clear.
