How to Play PC Engine Hyper Catalog CD-ROM 2 - 1993 Spring
Quick start
Choose Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure, The Dynastic Hero or another playable sample from the menu. Read its opening controls and treat the sample’s stopping point as the end of that preview.
Controls
Use the direction pad to select catalog entries or demos and confirm to open them. In a playable sample, I and II perform that title’s actions; promotional entries advance without direct character control.
PC Engine Hyper Catalog CD-ROM 2 - 1993 Spring — About this game
Hyper Catalog 2 opens with a Bomberman-themed presentation before offering its spring catalog and game samples. Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure and The Dynastic Hero provide playable sections extending toward their first bosses, while Quiz Caravan Cult Q and Lords of Thunder offer different kinds of direct play. GunBuster and Monster Maker appear through promotional material rather than the same kind of interactive excerpt. That distinction matters when an entry seems to run without accepting actions. Start from the selection menu and choose the experience you want to try, then follow the selected title’s rules. The variety makes the disc useful for comparing short introductions to platforming, quizzes and shooting without implying the complete games are included.
