Quick start
Begin the first dungeon and practice a short step, a standing jump and a ledge grab before taking a long run. Observe traps for a complete cycle and look for the switch that opens the next gate.
Controls
The direction pad runs, turns, crouches, jumps and climbs. Hold the careful-movement action to step or grab ledges; use the combat action when the sword is drawn. RUN pauses play.

The prince’s escape is a test of measured movement rather than constant speed. Rooms contain ledges, pressure plates, gates and lethal traps, with routes that must be understood before a long jump can be trusted. The character’s running momentum matters, so a careful step near an edge serves a different purpose from a committed running leap. Guards interrupt exploration with sword fights that require timing and distance. The time limit links the entire journey, but hurrying blindly often wastes more time through a fatal mistake. Learn how the prince reaches, hangs and pulls himself onto a ledge, then use those actions to turn apparently impossible gaps into a planned sequence.
