Orgel continues the Psychic Detective series’ emphasis on an unfolding mystery and the people caught inside it. Hiroyuki Furuyagi’s investigation proceeds through illustrated locations, conversations and decisions about which detail deserves further attention. The command-based interface leaves time to consider a statement before moving on, and the useful action is often determined by what was learned in the previous scene. Revisiting a topic can reveal a changed response once another piece of the case has fallen into place. The experience rewards keeping track of names, relationships and unanswered questions rather than searching for a faster movement technique. Follow the chain of evidence from one encounter to the next to uncover how the events connect.
