The second Lodoss adventure returns to a party of heroes whose journey connects settlements, dangerous regions and a growing fantasy conflict. Towns are navigated through their available destinations and services, while encounters interrupt travel and call for deliberate battle choices. Character abilities, equipment and recovery resources need to be considered together; a strong attacker cannot solve a prolonged expedition if the rest of the party is exhausted. The interface allows the battle view to be examined without the command window obscuring it, helping the player understand the current situation. Read the conversations that establish the next objective, then use the nearest safe location to prepare. Steady progress depends on arriving at the next major encounter with a capable group.
