Select a historical scenario and ruler, inspect your cities and officers, and use early turns to organize personnel and resources before invading.
Controls
Use the direction pad to highlight commands, I to confirm, and II to cancel or return to the previous menu. RUN starts from the title screen.
Sangokushi III — About this game
Conquering every city is the long-term objective, but the road to unification runs through the council chamber as well as the battlefield. Each officer brings a different mix of political ability, intelligence, charisma, and military skill. Assigning those talents sensibly helps turn a weak starting position into a durable kingdom. The PC Engine CD edition includes a Yellow Turban Rebellion scenario alongside its later historical starting points. City development, recruitment, diplomacy, and troop movements compete for your attention. Plan several turns ahead: a successful invasion is useful only when the army can hold the captured city and protect the territory behind it.
