The struggle for Kanto places neighboring domains under constant pressure from rival commanders. Your decisions cover both the land you hold and the armies sent to enlarge it. Building a stronger position requires attention to resources, personnel, and the frontier rather than an uninterrupted series of attacks. Diplomatic circumstances can change the value of a province, and a campaign launched too early can leave your own territory vulnerable. Examine the regional map before choosing an objective and keep the next season’s needs in mind. The strategic challenge lies in creating a position that can support expansion instead of winning one costly battle at a time.
