Quick start
Start the story, complete the introduction to JUNKER, and try the shooting practice when it becomes available. Examine locations thoroughly and revisit dialogue topics after new clues.
Controls
The direction pad chooses commands or aims the shooting cursor. I confirms commands and fires the blaster; II cancels a command. SELECT draws or lowers the blaster during shooting scenes. RUN starts the game.
Snatcher — About this game
Gillian Seed joins JUNKER to investigate artificial beings that murder people and take their identities. Neo Kobe’s locations are explored through commands for looking, talking, examining, and moving, with new information often requiring a second question or a closer inspection. The investigation alternates between tense conversations and short shooting encounters aimed through a grid. Objects and testimony link the case together, so remember where a name or clue first appeared. The CD edition presents the cyberpunk story with extensive voice and music. Progress comes from following the evidence methodically, then reacting accurately when a confrontation interrupts the investigation.
