The second Startling Odyssey expands its fantasy world through an earlier conflict rather than merely repeating Leon’s original journey. A new party travels between settlements and dangerous locations, with story scenes explaining the struggle surrounding them. Battles use commands, making equipment, spell choice, and the condition of each character central to survival. Treat a new area as a chance to learn the enemy’s strength before committing to its deepest route.
