How to Play Super Darius II
Quick start
Begin a run, destroy complete formations to obtain available upgrades, and watch the shield status. After the first boss, choose a branch you can learn consistently.
Controls
The direction pad moves the Silver Hawk. II fires the forward shot and I drops bombs. RUN starts or pauses play.
Super Darius II — About this game
A distress signal draws the next generation of Silver Hawk pilots into a new conflict. The route branches between stages, letting a run develop through different locations and major encounters. Power-ups strengthen the ship’s weapons and shield, so clearing the formations that carry them helps prepare for later threats. The PC Engine CD version reworks stages and introduces its own set of bosses rather than duplicating the earlier Super Darius campaign. Keep track of which upgrades a route offers, and learn the space around an enemy attack before moving toward a pickup. Preserving firepower is often worth more than one risky scoring opportunity.
