Taiheiki — About this game
The struggle between rival courts forms the basis for a historical strategy campaign. You direct a leader and subordinate commanders, using diplomacy and military operations to alter the balance between provinces. An army’s destination is only one part of the decision: agreements, defenses, and the condition of the territory behind it all affect whether an advance is sustainable. Battles move to a separate overhead grid, where positioning determines the confrontations that follow. Begin by understanding the political map and the forces already under your command. A measured campaign that preserves its base is more reliable than an early attack without support.
