How to Play Vasteel 2
Quick start
Begin the story and inspect the first mission’s objective. Review each unit’s movement and weapon choices, then advance with support before selecting an attack.
Controls
Use the direction pad to highlight commands, I to confirm, and II to cancel or return to the previous menu. RUN starts from the title screen.
Vasteel 2 — About this game
The sequel gives its military campaign a stronger narrative presence, with animated scenes and conversations linking the missions. Hex-based movement still shapes the battles, but the direct-control action encounters of the first Vasteel are replaced by automatic resolution. Your important choices therefore occur before the confrontation: where to position a unit, which target to engage, and which available weapon suits the exchange. Scripted events can change the meaning of an objective, so read the mission dialogue as well as the map. Preserve a supporting line and compare attack options before committing, especially when a powerful-looking weapon leaves the unit exposed afterward.
