How to Play Wizardry III & IV
Quick start
Choose the scenario you want to play. For III, prepare a balanced party before entering the maze; for IV, study Werdna’s opening commands and summoned allies before exploring.
Controls
Use the direction pad to highlight commands, I to confirm, and II to cancel or return to the previous menu. RUN starts from the title screen.
Wizardry III & IV — About this game
The two games collected here ask for different approaches to the same first-person dungeon framework. Legacy of Llylgamyn follows an adventuring party through dangerous mazes, where composition, equipment, and route planning shape the expedition. The Return of Werdna reverses the usual role, placing the former antagonist in a dungeon escape built around summoning monsters and solving demanding problems. Select the scenario deliberately rather than expecting the same party routine to work in both. Keep careful notes of routes and clues, conserve limited resources, and return to an earlier safe position before a difficult situation removes the options needed to recover.
