Quick start
Begin the Redmont story, speak to the townspeople, and buy basic equipment before entering the first dungeon. Practice standing, crouching, and upward sword attacks on manageable enemies.
Controls
The direction pad moves and crouches. I jumps, II swings the sword, and directions combined with II change the strike. SELECT opens the command window; RUN activates an equipped ring.

Adol accompanies Dogi to Redmont after reports of trouble in his old home. The adventure changes the series’ viewpoint to side-scrolling action, replacing contact combat with a sword that can strike in several directions. Jumping and crouching become part of navigating the dungeons, while equipment, experience, and rings affect the strength and safety of each expedition. Town provides supplies and information between trips into dangerous areas. Learn how high or low an enemy’s body sits before choosing a sword strike, and conserve ring power for situations where its benefit matters. The journey combines platform movement with the preparation of a role-playing adventure.
