The first adventure sends Beckham across a mysterious island, defeating similar penguins to collect equipment parts. Choose equipment before entering a battle, then observe the opponent and the arena before committing to a special action. New parts change your available approach, so compare the current loadout after a victory instead of assuming every reward is automatically better. Start with one manageable encounter, learn when attacks reach and leave room to recover. A failed exchange is a chance to adjust distance and timing before retrying. Read each mode’s goal and stage conditions, since winning a fight and clearing an adventure objective can require different decisions. Original DS communication modes describe separate local play rather than the solo progression.
