How to Play The Penguins of Madagascar
Quick start
Begin the first zoo mission, locate its exit and switch penguins to test the obstacle-specific ability. Bring the rest through the opened route.
Controls
Follow the DS movement prompts; B jumps, Y uses the primary ability and L switches penguins. At workbenches or other context points, read the current ability cue and complete its puzzle before moving the team onward.
The Penguins of Madagascar — About this game
Zoo errands become compact team puzzles in this DS adventure. Survey the route, select the penguin whose ability matches the obstacle and open a path before guiding the others through. Rico deals with destructible barriers, while Kowalski assembles useful inventions from collected parts at workbenches. A machine puzzle may therefore be the key to reaching the next section, rather than defeating an enemy. Start by moving one penguin to a clear position and check where the whole group must finish. Snow cones reward exploration and can buy extra activities in Julien’s store. The DSi camera diversions are optional extras, separate from the main DS route.
