How to Play Perfect Dark
Quick start
Choose New Agent, select an empty slot and enter a name to begin training. Open the inventory with START to review objectives. Approach the first guard from behind, defeat him, press SELECT to search and A to collect the ammunition. At the target range, move the crosshair, fire with A and reload with B. Follow the training door’s colour sequence carefully.
Controls
The D-pad moves Joanna; double-tap and hold a direction to run. A fires and B reloads only when reserve ammunition is available. SELECT searches a body, with A collecting a found item. START opens or closes the inventory. In target-range training, the D-pad aims, A fires and B reloads; START pauses that minigame.
Perfect Dark — About this game
Begin as a new agent at the Carrington Institute and learn to search defeated guards for supplies. Target ranges teach aiming and reloading, while colour-sequence doors test memory rather than shooting. Later assignments reveal dataDyne’s involvement in a wider conspiracy. The inventory provides equipment and mission information; check objectives and spare ammunition instead of treating every room as a simple rush to the exit.
