Quick start
Create a character, accept the first hamster and place its basic supplies. Visit the shop, return home and inspect food, water and dirty items before adding toys.
Controls
Use the DS stylus to choose cage items, place supplies and interact with the hamster. Select the cleaner for a dirty furnishing and follow its displayed action, then check the item’s appearance. Use the menus to visit the shop or another available home.

Create a character and accept the starter hamster with its cage equipment, then learn the shop and home routine. Keep food and water available, inspect furnishings as they become dirty and use the cleaner on the item that needs attention. Petting and cage interactions generate the game’s currency, allowing further supplies and layout choices. Visit the shop and speak to its characters as more possibilities become available. Start with basic maintenance rather than filling every space with toys; observe the hamster’s mood before adding more interaction. Later visits and breeding extend the collection, but exact timing varies. This is the DS cage-care game, with progression through repeated care rather than a separate action campaign.
