How to Play Petz Vet
Quick start
Choose New Game and begin the first workday, Year 1, April Day 2. Walk to New Yorkie Vet, meet the Director for the hospital tour, then follow after the incoming call and speak with Sarah. When Kevin asks you to enter the Examination Room, accept his tutorial and complete your first patient examination; lunch follows the case. Each later medical case starts with its own tutorial, so read the case instructions before selecting a treatment rather than rushing through them.
Controls
D-Pad: walk through the hospital and move through menus; in minigames it moves the hand, needle, catcher, or selection as shown. A: open the command menu, confirm, interact, bandage germs in Whack-A-Germ, shoot in Germ Balloon Panic, select or swap Animal Puzzle pieces, catch or place animals in Pet Catch, run uphill in Rock-n-Roll Dash, and serve or hit in Smash Tennis. B: jump over rocks in Rock-n-Roll Dash. L/R: press in rhythm with the metronome in Cat Bandage. General START, SELECT, and B functions outside the documented minigames were not confirmed by the public GBA sources.
