How to Play Phil of the Future
Quick start
Choose New Game and advance the opening dialogue at the Diffy home. The first playable objective takes Phil outside to deal with an escaped blue Blah. Open the gadget screen, select the first available device, return to the yard, approach the Blah, and use the highlighted action before it pulls itself loose. Continue by following the objective text, capturing other escaped futuristic pets, and collecting device upgrades and time-machine parts. Early on, check the gadget screen whenever an obstacle does not react to the current device.
Controls
D-Pad: move the active character and navigate menus. A: confirm choices, advance dialogue, and perform the prompted interaction. The GBA footage shows a gadget grid with locked slots and selectable device states; choose an unlocked gadget before approaching the first Blah. Later characters and devices enable different movement and interactions, including aerial travel, climbing, and swinging. A complete official GBA button table was not available, so B, START, SELECT, L, and R are not assigned here; follow the on-screen prompt for device use and character-specific actions.
