How to Play Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension
Quick start
Choose Main Game, start a save and follow the opening mission. Practise jumping and changing heroes, then use the needed gadget to clear the first obstruction.
Controls
D-pad moves; B jumps and twice double-jumps. A attacks, hold and release for a charged attack; X uses a special. Tap a character card or press L/R to switch. Perry uses A or X in midair for a hip drop. START pauses.

Phineas, Ferb and Perry have different tools for crossing platforms and opening the next route. Look at an obstacle before choosing a character: a weapon can activate a switch as well as defeat an enemy. Explore the stage, deal with a group safely and check for a gadget interaction before moving on. Begin with Main Game and learn the first mission rather than opening a vehicle challenge immediately. Batteries collected during play can buy unlocked costumes in the shop. Vehicle races form a separate challenge, including the original DS Download Play mode for up to four people.
