How to Play Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All
Quick start
Start The Lost Turnabout and follow Maggey's help through the opening questions. Read Dustin's autopsy report and the evidence added to the Court Record. When Gumshoe testifies, review each statement and press for more detail. Check the writing in the crime photograph against the client's name, then present the contradictory record at the relevant statement. Use START to save before testing an uncertain deduction.
Controls
DS controls: tap dialogue, choices and command panels on the Touch Screen. A confirms or advances text; B cancels or returns; the D-pad selects options and moves through testimony. L presses the current statement; R opens the Court Record and changes its evidence/profile view; X presents the selected item when available. START opens the save screen. Optional microphone prompts support spoken courtroom commands; the on-screen Press and Present buttons perform those ordinary actions too. For optional spoken commands, hold Y when the microphone prompt is available.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All — About this game
Justice for All begins with Phoenix suffering memory loss just before a trial, turning the first case into a fresh lesson in courtroom reasoning. Across four episodes, investigations supply evidence and character profiles that can expose contradictions during cross-examination. Pressing a witness may reveal a useful detail or force a revised statement. Later, the magatama reveals Psyche-Locks around secrets held by people outside court; breaking them requires relevant evidence rather than random guessing. The opening case uses ordinary testimony and evidence, so these later investigation tools do not replace the basic need to read carefully and choose exactly where a fact conflicts with a witness's account.
