How to Play Pic Pic

Quick start

Choose a mode and an early small puzzle. In Maze Paint, draw from the marked start through the corridors to the exit. In Drawing, join an equal-number pair with the exact total number of cells, including both endpoints, without crossing another path. In Magipic, start with 0 clues and full 3×3 areas marked 9, then compare overlapping clues.

Controls

Use the stylus on the touch screen to trace Maze Paint routes and draw horizontal/vertical Drawing paths. For Magipic, mark cells black or white to satisfy the surrounding clues. Correct mistaken marks before continuing. Select modes and puzzles through the menus; completed images and checklist show your progress.

Pic Pic — About this game

Three puzzle types turn small decisions on a grid into finished pictures. Maze Paint asks you to trace the route from the entrance to the exit, avoiding dead ends until the coloured image appears. Drawing pairs equal numbers with paths of the required cell length, counting the numbered endpoints; paths run horizontally or vertically and cannot cross. Magipic uses a different clue system: each number states how many black cells lie in the three-by-three area centred on it, including the clue cell. Overlapping neighbourhoods provide the deductions that finish the picture. The DS stylus handles the marking and drawing like a puzzle-book pen, with mistakes erasable. You can select puzzles in the order you want and return to the completed-picture checklist. Begin with a small example in each mode so its rules stay distinct, then move to larger grids when the deductions become familiar.
