How to Play Pipe Dream
Quick start
Press a button to reach Menu Selection. Use the D-pad to choose one player, A Game and an early level, then press START. Move the cursor and press A to place the next pipe from the dispenser, building outward from S. Watch DIST: it must reach zero before the flow runs out of connected pipe. Save SELECT for when your route is ready.
Controls
D-pad: move the placement cursor and choose menu options. A: place the current pipe; placing it over an eligible empty pipe replaces that piece. START: begin play or pause/resume a round. SELECT: accelerate the flooz in FAST mode for doubled scoring, so avoid pressing it while still planning. Filled pipes and special pieces cannot be replaced.
Pipe Dream — About this game
Pipe Dream gives you a fixed sequence of pipe pieces and a countdown before the flooz begins to flow. Place bends, straights and crossings to carry it through the required distance, then keep extending the route for points. Replacing an empty pipe costs time and score, so planning useful connections ahead is safer than constant repairs. Later boards introduce one-way pipes, reservoirs, pumps and tunnels. Standard, Tournament and One Shot modes offer different progressions, with both solo and two-player options.
