How to Play Pipe Mania
Quick start
Open the first Story stage, find start and drain and read the required length. Place the queued pieces into one continuous route before flow reaches the end.
Controls
Place pipes with the DS stylus, or move with the D-pad and confirm with A. Pieces arrive in queue order; check connections before placing and replace a dry section only when the time cost is worthwhile.
Pipe Mania — About this game
Build a route from the start tap to the drain using the pipe pieces supplied in order. Watch the upcoming queue and the level’s length or time requirement before placing a bend. An awkward piece can go aside, but unused sections and replacements affect the score and replacing a piece also costs time. Story mode’s leak meter gives a brief chance to recover from a spill; Classic has stricter failure rules. Start with the opening story stage and practise a continuous route before chasing medals. Later fixed objects and different flow types change the puzzle, so inspect the board at the beginning.
