How to Play Planet 51: The Game
Quick start
Start the first mission, practise turning and braking on the scooter, then follow the marked route and finish its current objective.
Controls
Left/right steer, A accelerates, B brakes, Down boosts, X jumps and Y performs the contextual interaction. Shoulder buttons strafe sideways. Use the stylus when a newspaper or passenger mission specifically requests it.
Planet 51: The Game — About this game
Stay in Lem’s vehicle as missions guide you around the planet’s suburban streets. Race through checkpoints, make deliveries or escape pursuing forces, learning each objective before setting off. New hover vehicles become available as the story progresses. Begin with the scooter and a short route to learn braking, turning and the sideways strafe. Some tasks use the touch screen for newspaper throws or a passenger action, but ordinary driving stays on buttons. Read the current mission and watch the road instead of assuming the same action finishes every job. The DS adventure remains vehicle-based throughout.
