How to Play Planet of the Apes
Quick start
At the language screen choose English with the D-pad and A or START, then select New Game. In the first desert stage, guide Ben to the exit while following Taylor’s trail: search upper and lower routes for USNSA flags, avoid hazards and use the starting knife only when an enemy cannot be bypassed. Ten flags in a level award a health pack on the tally screen, but reaching the exit is the immediate objective.
Controls
Menus: Left/Right selects and A or START confirms. Play: Left/Right moves; Up jumps straight up and grabs overhead ledges; Down crouches; tap Left/Right while crouched to crawl or hold the direction to roll. A jumps in the facing direction and, when a weapon is equipped, attacks or fires. B equips or unequips the selected inventory item. SELECT cycles inventory; START pauses. Health loss restarts the current level when the meter empties.
