How to Play Plasma Ball
Quick start
At first, select 1PLAYER, ball speed SLOW, and proceed with A. The rules make it easier to understand the goal by starting with a death battle that reduces the opponent's health to 0. Decide on the fighting god, name, and ability distribution, and if you are unsure about the distribution, you can use the automatic setting by ``Leave it to me''. Receive a small flying ball or the opponent's ball with A, then hold it and throw it again with A. Let go before the count reaches 3, and first memorize the distance to receive in front of the shield.
Controls
Cross button: Move in eight directions, menu cursor. A: If you don't have the ball, put out your shield and catch it, if you have it, throw it forward. Contact the opponent and A: Shield attack. B: Special ability. In Death Battle/QUEST, press and hold B to charge, then release to perform a special move. Block Breaker moves at high speed, Goal Shooter uses defensive laser. START: Match pose or decision. SELECT: Title mode selection, etc. You cannot catch a plasma ball that you create yourself.
Plasma Ball — About this game
"Plasma Ball" is a fighting game for the Famicom that uses a shield to catch a ball and throw the grown plasma back at it. In Death Battle, where you whittle down your opponent's health, Block Breaker, which destroys the enemy's buildings, and Goal Shooter, where you score a goal within the time limit, the target location changes even with the same pitch. The ball becomes stronger to three levels while you hold it, but if you store it up too much, it will explode, so you need to be careful when releasing it. The shield can be used not only for defense but also to hinder the opponent, and B's special abilities change depending on the rules to special moves, high-speed movement, and defensive lasers. In QUEST, you defeat and save the gods of each region and aim for the final battle while improving your abilities.
