How to Play Pocket Hanafuda
Quick start
Choose a rule mode, read its scoring explanation and inspect the opening cards. Find a same-month capture, make it and check the collected groups before deciding whether to continue.
Controls
D-pad selects hand cards, field cards and commands. A confirms a play or choice, B cancels or returns where allowed. Read the continuation and scoring prompts carefully because Hana Awase and Koi-Koi do not resolve a hand identically.
Pocket Hanafuda — About this game
Learn the month illustrations before chasing every bright card. Look at your hand and the field together, then choose a capture that supports a plausible set. In Koi-Koi, compare what you have scored with what another turn could expose. A modest finished result may be more useful than extending without a clear route, especially when the opponent is also near a combination.
