How to Play Pokémon Conquest
Quick start
Start a new game, choose your protagonist and name, and follow the opening in Aurora with Eevee. Listen to Oichi during the first battle. Select Eevee, choose a blue movement square, then use Fight when an enemy is in the move’s range. Check the facing and damage preview before confirming. After the tutorial, follow the current kingdom objective and use the menu’s Save option to record progress.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to move the cursor, A to select or confirm and B to cancel; the touch screen also selects units and commands. Choose a Pokémon, move within its blue squares, then select Fight or Wait. L/R switch between selectable Pokémon in battle. START opens the menu, including Save and battle conditions. Hold Y with the Control Pad to rotate or zoom the battle camera. X changes function with context: selected-unit skills/items or ending the army turn when no unit is selected.
Pokémon Conquest — About this game
You begin as Aurora’s new Warlord with Eevee at your side, building an army through bonds between Warriors and Pokémon. Battles take place on grids where movement range, attack patterns, type matchups and the direction an opponent faces all affect your plan. Each Pokémon’s move makes positioning especially important, while a Warrior’s skill can provide support at a decisive moment. Outside battle, you manage kingdoms and use each month to train, explore and prepare. Recruiting allies and finding compatible Pokémon gradually expands your choices as you work toward uniting Ransei and confronting Nobunaga’s ambitions.
