How to Play Pokémon Dash
Quick start
Select the One-Player balloon and complete the tutorial before entering the Grand Prix. Practise sliding to run, follow the arrow and activate each checkpoint in order. Learn the terrain pads and the Lapras crossing, then collect balloons and practise flight with the upper-screen radar. Use DIVE to descend and aim for a safe landing before starting the first cup.
Controls
Slide the stylus repeatedly across the lower screen in the direction you want Pikachu to run. After collecting balloons, slide along a side edge to take off. Keep sliding to steer in the air and consult the radar; slide on DIVE to descend. Adjust your position during the dive and tap balloons to pop them for a faster drop, allowing room to land safely.
Pokémon Dash — About this game
Pikachu races other Pokémon across islands where the route matters as much as speed. Repeated stylus strokes drive the run, while an arrow and the upper-screen radar guide you to checkpoints that must be crossed in order. Roads allow quick progress, but sand and forests slow you down; terrain pads help you cross difficult ground. Water and swamps demand care, and some routes call for Lapras or balloons. Flying opens shortcuts across the sea, then a controlled dive brings you back to the course. Popping balloons speeds the descent, but a hard landing can cost the time you hoped to save.
