Pokémon Diamond Version — About this game

Travel across Sinnoh with a team of Pokémon that grows alongside you. Towns, caves and grassy routes connect a journey built around catching wild Pokémon, training them in turn-based battles and earning Gym Badges on the way to the Pokémon League. Each encounter asks you to consider move types, remaining HP and when to switch partners; weakening a wild opponent before throwing a Poké Ball makes capture easier. Pokémon Centers restore your team, while the Pokédex records the species you discover. Team Galactic interrupts the journey with plans that reach beyond an ordinary Gym challenge. Between major battles, explore side paths and use the touch-screen Pokétch to support your travels. Diamond places Dialga at the heart of its legendary encounter and includes wild Pokémon such as Stunky and Murkrow that are not found in Pearl. The two versions share the central adventure, but their different encounter lists give your team-building choices a distinct starting point.
