How to Play Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
Quick start
Start New Game, complete the personality quiz and aura prompt, then select and name your partner. Recover the Relic Fragment through Beach Cave and defeat Koffing and Zubat. Join Wigglytuff’s Guild and take Spoink’s first request to Drenched Bluff. Save at your guild bed. As the story progresses, check Episode List for unlocked Special Episodes and visit Spinda’s Café when it opens.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move and A to confirm, talk or attack. X opens the menu; B cancels selections and opens the Treasure Bag in a dungeon. Y turns on the spot, R plus a direction moves diagonally, L+A uses the set move and L+R throws set ammo. A+B passes a turn and SELECT displays the map. Touch controls also allow movement and menu choices.

Explorers of Sky expands the guild adventure about a human turned Pokémon and the fate of the Time Gears. Changing dungeon floors still demand careful turns, food and move PP, with your partner’s safety central to each expedition. New Special Episodes shift attention to other characters as they unlock. Spinda’s Café offers drinks made from food and a recycling shop for unwanted items. New lookalike items have misleadingly familiar names, so reading an item’s effect matters. A broader starting selection provides more ways to begin the journey.
