How to Play Pokémon Pinball
Quick start
Choose a new game and the Red or Blue field, then launch the ball with A. With the default controls, practise returning it with Left and A. Watch the field indicators and follow the on-screen objective when a catch mode starts.
Controls
Default layout: Left on the direction pad operates the left flipper; A operates the right flipper and launches the ball. START pauses. Controls can be changed in Key Configuration, so check that menu if your flippers respond differently.
Pokémon Pinball — About this game
Pokémon Pinball turns collecting Pokémon into a Game Boy Color pinball challenge. Keep the Poké Ball moving across the Red or Blue field, aim for ramps and targets, and activate special modes to catch or evolve Pokémon for your Pokédex.
The two fields have different layouts and encounters. Scoring and collecting share the same table, so each shot can serve a different goal: keeping the ball in play, opening a mode or completing its objective before time runs out.
