How to Play Pooyan

Quick start

Select one or two people with SELECT and start with START. Move the gondola up and down and shoot arrows with A or B. At first, aim at the height of the balloon, not at the body of the descending wolf, so that it doesn't miss the ground. When meat appears, move to the top and receive it, then press the shoot button to throw it when the enemy lines up. Don't forget to position yourself to avoid being thrown stones.

Controls

Cross button up and down: Move mom's gondola up and down. A/B: Both fire arrows and throw meat when they have meat. SELECT: Select single/two-person use by title. START: Start, pause during play, press again to resume. In a two-player game, player 2 uses controller 2. To get the meat, move the gondola to the top while it appears.

Pooyan — About this game

In ``Pouyan,'' arrows are shot from a gondola that moves up and down to defeat wolves that approach with balloons. On the odd-numbered side, there is a battle with an enemy that comes down from the top of the tree, and the wolf that escapes to the ground climbs up to bite Mom. On the even-numbered side, on the other hand, it rises from the bottom, and when it reaches the top, it tries to drop a large rock, so you need to adjust your aim according to the enemy's direction of movement. The meat you can get at the top can be used as a weapon to lure wolves down, giving you a chance to defeat them all together. There are enemies that slow down when hit by arrows, and bosses that require multiple attacks, so you'll want to think about the order and height, not just how many shots to shoot. Bonuses for using meat and fruits are also waiting for you after the even numbered side.
