How to Play Popstars
Quick start
Create the performer, finish the opening conversations and choose a training task. Practise singing or dancing before entering the show.
Controls
Sing into the DS microphone when the song activity requests it, following pitch and text guidance. For dancing, tap the appearing symbols with the stylus at the indicated moment. Menus and dialogue use the touch interface.
Popstars — About this game
Create a performer, meet other contestants and complete the conversations and training needed for the day’s show. Singing asks you to follow pitch and words, while dancing asks for timed stylus touches on appearing symbols. Learn one training task before combining the demands of a performance. Relationships and challenges help open the route through the casting story, so a show is not only a song-selection menu. Start with a practice track and check the feedback before the jury event. The original DS also includes two-person play with separate game cards, letting another performer join the challenge.
