Quick start
Begin Buttercup’s adventure at Pokey Oaks School. Collect the trading card inside the school bus, then step outside and fly onto its roof. Defeat the thug there and explore the nearby clouds for Chemical X and valuables. Search for the key, rescue Ms. Keane and prepare for Snake.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: walk. Up: take off, then use the D-pad to steer in flight; Down: land. A: punch or kick. B plus a direction: use Laser Vision, consuming Chemical X. START: pause. SELECT: open the Hotline menu, then A uses an available Hotline.

Take control of Buttercup in a Game Boy Color action adventure about stopping the Gangreen Gang. Explore Townsville's rooms and outdoor routes, rescue people and recover stolen valuables. Flying helps reach elevated paths, but limited flight energy makes planning a safe landing part of each journey.
Combat and exploration share the same spaces: enemies guard routes, keys open locked areas and hidden trading cards reward searching off the main path. Use normal attacks when you can and save Chemical X for the special power you need. Buttercup uses Laser Vision, and her opening rescue takes her to Pokey Oaks School, where Ms. Keane is captive.
