How to Play Predator

Quick start

Press START to leave the opening demonstration. Choose START for a new game, then use A to advance the story and enter play. In the first jungle stage, jump onto the white rock on the left to collect the machine gun. Move cautiously toward the rolling rock, use B to attack and plan each landing. At a cave exit, press Up to continue.

Controls

Left/Right: move; Down: crouch; Up at a jungle cave exit: enter it. A: jump; hold it longer for a higher jump in jungle play. B: use the current weapon or punch when unarmed. START pauses/resumes jungle stages, not Big Mode. While paused, A or B makes Dutch self-destruct, so resume with START instead.

Predator — About this game

Predator alternates careful platform jumping with large-character shooting sequences. In the jungle, Dutch starts without a firearm and must collect weapons while avoiding guerrillas, scorpions, moving rocks and fatal gaps. Reaching a cave exit advances the journey; some stages offer more than one route. The laser can clear obstructing rocks, while a grenade can hurt Dutch as well as enemies. Big Mode changes the pace to a scrolling firefight with airborne targets, ammunition pickups and a confrontation with the Predator. Keeping a safe landing spot in sight matters just as much as attacking.
