How to Play Princess Debut
Quick start
Choose Story and follow the prologue into the princess’s world. On Day 1, go with Kip to the Practice Hall and meet Tony Rabbit. Follow his introductory dance lesson by tracing the moving guide in time with the music. Let the lesson introduce the movements before making later partner decisions; its song can differ between music sets.
Controls
During a dance, use the stylus on the lower screen to follow the moving circular guide along the displayed path. Match the cue’s pace and direction while the upper screen shows the performance. Follow each lesson’s prompts for new steps. Use the displayed story choices and mode options between dances.
Princess Debut — About this game
Princess Debut sends a girl into another world to stand in for a princess preparing for a ball. You have thirty days to practise dances, meet princes and make choices that shape the story. Dancing is a rhythm activity: the upper screen shows the couple while the touch screen gives you a moving guide to follow with the stylus. Staying with its pace matters more than drawing the shape as fast as possible. Lessons gradually build your confidence before important events, and outfits and accessories add another way to prepare. Story combines these lessons with conversations, while the other modes let you practise or watch performances. A first run is easier to follow when you focus on learning the dances before chasing a particular ending.
