How to Play Puyo Pop Fever
Quick start
Choose the single-player story mode and its beginner Runrun course with Amitie. Start by joining four of the same color, then leave space for the next piece. Try setting up one group above another so the first clear makes a second group fall into place; keep the marked top entry spaces clear.
Controls
Control Pad left/right moves a piece and down makes it fall faster. With default settings, A rotates clockwise and B counterclockwise; options can reverse rotation. A confirms menus and B goes back; START pauses. On the touch screen, slide to move/drop and tap to rotate.
Puyo Pop Fever — About this game
Falling Puyo arrive in different shapes, so each placement can prepare the next chain as well as an immediate clear. Connect at least four of one color to make them pop; falling groups can then trigger further clears and send nuisance Puyo to the opponent. Countering attacks fills the Fever gauge, opening a timed field of prepared chain patterns. The solo story offers a short beginner course with Amitie and longer challenges as you learn, while endless play lets you practise keeping the field open.
