How to Play Puyo Puyo 7
Quick start
Open がっこう and start にゅうもん to learn clearing and nuisance cancellation, then try the two-chain lesson in じっせん. For a transformation battle, choose でか or ちび before play. Place a few matching colours deliberately, watch the incoming nuisance and fill the transformation gauge through cancellation or nuisance clearing.
Controls
D-pad left/right moves the falling piece; Down speeds its fall. A rotates clockwise and B counterclockwise; a solid four-Puyo block changes colour instead. Up performs a quick drop only in the transformation rule. Menus use the D-pad and A to confirm, B to return. START pauses or resumes.
Puyo Puyo 7 — About this game
Ringo's school is showered with Puyo, and the puzzle battles introduce a change of scale. Connect at least four matching colours to clear them and arrange the falling pieces so each clear sets off the next. In the transformation rule, cancelling incoming nuisance or clearing nuisance already on the board fills a seven-part gauge. Giant form opens a small board where three matching Puyo clear and quick successive clears build a running chain. Tiny form supplies prepared chain patterns on a much larger field. Choosing which form to use changes how you plan your comeback. School lessons teach the basics and chain shapes before the story or free battles, while classic and Fever rules offer different ways to practise.
