How to Play Puyo Puyo Gaiden: Puyo Wars
Quick start
Begin the story and inspect the first battlefield. Use the directional pad to select a Tector and A to confirm. Choose a reachable square, then an available attack and target. B cancels before committing; review the other units before ending the turn from the command menu.
Controls
The directional pad moves the cursor and selects units, squares and commands. A confirms movement or attacks, B cancels or returns and START opens the command menu. Play proceeds through tactical turns rather than falling-block inputs.

Read the map and compare reachable squares with the places from which an enemy can answer. Move one machine with a purpose and keep others close enough to support it. An attack should create room for the rest of the force, not simply spend a turn causing damage. Preparing the next position matters as much as choosing the target in front of you.
