Quick start
Choose じゅぎょう and begin the beginner course on かいだんづみ. Read the example, then place the supplied Puyo against the shadow guides in the confirmation exercise. Check the next piece before committing to a column. After practising the shape, try a story battle or select a familiar rule for a free match before exploring the unusual variants.
Controls
D-pad left/right moves the falling group and Down speeds its fall. A rotates clockwise; B rotates counterclockwise. A solid four-Puyo block changes colour with these buttons. Use the D-pad to choose menu entries, A to confirm and B to return. START pauses or resumes. Watch each rule's own field changes while placing pieces.
Puyo Puyo! - Puyopuyo 15th Anniversary — About this game
This anniversary game turns one falling-colour puzzle into twelve different contests. The original rule rewards a fast attack, Tsu adds nuisance cancellation, and Fever supplies ready-made chain patterns after its gauge fills. Other rules change what you must watch: underwater Puyo rise with buoyancy, bombs threaten nearby colours, and the giant-Puyo board clears groups of three. Each character also has a story with comic exchanges and puzzle battles. The lesson mode gives the collection a clear starting point, teaching staircase, sandwich and folding chain shapes through demonstrations and placement exercises. Learn a small reliable chain first, then try a new rule and see which part of your usual plan needs to change.
