Quick start
Choose a story puzzle and finish its first scene. Check the next story passage, then try a character board or memory game. Leave original-puzzle creation until familiar with the interface.
Controls
Use the DS puzzle interface to select and place pieces. Follow separate prompts for dance timing, card matching and stylus creation. Friday additions use the in-game DS-clock feature; each mode has its own menu.

Oden-kun 2 expands the illustrated jigsaw format with several activities. Complete story pictures to follow life in the cooking pot, choose character puzzles, or try Dance Lesson and matching-pair memory. The DS clock adds a new jigsaw on Fridays, rather than requiring a network download. A stylus-based creation option also lets you make an original puzzle. Begin with a story picture to learn piece placement, then select another activity from its own menu. Read the new instructions when changing from assembling pieces to timing a dance or remembering pairs.
