Quick start
Choose the story mode, read the opening and complete its first jigsaw scene. Check the next story passage, or choose the separate character-puzzle mode for another picture.
Controls
Use the DS puzzle controls to choose and place pieces, checking the displayed orientation and fit. Advance story text through its shown confirmation control. Story scenes and character puzzles are selected from separate menus.

The world inside an oden stall's cooking pot becomes a series of illustrated jigsaw scenes. In the story mode, completing a puzzle moves Oden-kun's tale forward; a separate puzzle selection offers character pictures. Begin with an available story scene and look at the whole illustration before moving pieces. Match a clear character outline or edge, then use adjoining colours to connect the background. Read what happens after the image is finished before selecting another board. The story progress comes from assembling scenes, rather than walking freely around Oden Village.
