How to Play Puzzle Series Vol. 4 - Kakuro
Quick start
Choose 入門 for an introductory puzzle. Start with a short run, compare its total with the number of cells, then use the crossing run to narrow down each digit. Fill the white cells and check both directions before moving on.
Controls
Touch a white cell on the lower screen, then use the displayed 1–9 number panel to enter a digit. Use 消す to remove an entry. Consult 分解表 for combinations and ヘルプ for guidance.
Puzzle Series Vol. 4 - Kakuro — About this game
Kakuro turns a crossword-shaped grid into a problem of sums and shared digits. Fill each white cell with a number from 1 to 9 so that every horizontal and vertical run adds up to its clue, without repeating a digit within that run. Crossings narrow the possible combinations. This DS edition offers four difficulty levels, more than 300 puzzles and grids ranging from 5×5 to 13×21. A combination table helps you examine which digits can make a total, while help on the upper screen lets you consult the rules as you solve.
