Start with the step-by-step help and a normal puzzle before trying timed certification. Variety questions change the starting information, with no-hint boards and layouts without black squares. Use a secure short word to test a repeated number, then check its effect elsewhere. These are Japanese word deductions rather than Sudoku sums, so recognising possible word shapes matters.
